Eight Coyotes from Coastal Alabama South Cheer Commit to Four-Year Programs

Coastal Alabama South Cheerleading Sees Eight Student-Athletes Continue Athletic Careers Following 2024-25 Season

BAY MINETTE, Ala. - Eight graduating sophomores from the Coastal Alabama South Competitive Cheer program have officially signed to four-year programs as of April 24, with each Coyote moving on to join NCAA Division I teams. After Coastal South Cheer produced yet another successful season under head coach Cassidy Goodwin during 2024-25, which saw the Coyotes secure two top-five finishes at the Universal Cheerleaders Association Nationals in Orlando, Fla., several NCAA D-I programs scooped up the departing sophomores from this year's Coyote roster. 

Each student-athlete weighed multiple offers from large cheer programs across the NCAA, with five teams eventually becoming the future homes of the graduating Coyotes. Additionally, four of the five NCAA teams are former NCAA Competitive Cheer National Champions, combining for 95 total national titles.
