2025-26

In 2025-26, Coach Allen led both of his teams back to the NJCAA Men's and Women's Tennis National Championship Tournaments, competing in Division II this year.

The men's team highlighted the postseason with a national runner-up finish in Plano, Tex., finishing just four points shy of claiming the national title. Four (Nils Guyot, Maximo Yanez, Alvaro Velasco, Milan Olagnon) were named NJCAA D-II Men's Tennis First-Team All-Americans following the second-place finish. Additionally, the Coyotes finished second at the ACCC Men's Tennis Championship Tournament in Millbrook, Ala. where Coach Allen earned the ACCC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year award.

On the women's side, Coach Allen led the Yotes to a fifth-place finish nationally in Sumter, S.C., with the program seeing Hannah Stenger named as a NJCAA D-II Women's Tennis Second-Team All-American. In addition, the women's team placed second at the ACCC Women's Tennis Championship Tournament and saw Coach Allen secure the ACCC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year honor for the second consecutive season.

Both teams finished the most wins in program history in a single season under Coach Allen's guidance and remained ranked inside the top 25 of the ITA NJCAA Men's and Women's Tennis Rankings.

2024-25

Two seasons ago during the 2024-25 athletic season, Coach Allen surpassed 100 career wins with Coastal Alabama, while leading the programs to the NJCAA Tennis National Championships, where both teams placed in the top 20 nationally in Division I. The men's team finished a program-best (D-I) 13th overall. Additionally, both teams finished the season ranked inside the ITA NJCAA Men's and Women's Tennis Top 25 Rankings, with the men's team finishing at No. 15 in the poll and the women's team ending the year at No. 17.

Following the successful season in 2025, Coach Allen was named the ACCC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year during the 2025 campaign, leading his Coyotes to a 7-2 ACCC record. In addition, Allen was honored nationally as the ITA National Women's Tennis Coach of the Year and was presented the NJCAA Herschel Stephens Coaching Award, which is awarded each year to a head coach who has made three trips to the NJCAA National Championships in a five-year period.

Under Coach Allen’s guidance, the Yotes have excelled on and off the court as the programs have been recognized for their academic excellence and community service. In 2025, 15 players across both teams made the ACCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring term, one year after seeing 16 members honored in the ACCC. Coastal Alabama South Women's Tennis member Mya Schaffer was honored with the National Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award for ITA Women's Tennis.
