ALBERTVILLE, Ala. - The Coastal Alabama South Men's and Women's Tennis teams, led by head couch Kouri Allen, picked up two conference road victories in shutout fashion on Friday afternoon, March 7, with the women's team defeating Snead State (Ala.) 9-0 and the men's team earning a 9-0 win over Gadsden State (Ala.). Both matches were played at the Sand Mountain Park and Amphitheater in Albertville, Ala.

Coastal South Women's Tennis swept the opposition in every match played against Snead State on Friday, improving to 9-5 overall on the season and 5-1 in the ACCC. Across doubles action, the pairs of Emily Grubach / Jescimiel Mabiongo and Kameryn Browne / Julianne Legg managed 8-0 victories to highlight doubles play, while Mabiongo secured Coastal South's lone 6-0, 6-0 victory in singles play. On the men's side, the Coyotes improved to 10-5 this season and 7-1 in the ACCC with a dominating 9-0 shutout over Gadsden State. Coastal South's No. 3 doubles pair of Alvaro Velasco and Nils Guyot secured an 8-1 win, while the Coyotes' top two seeds won 8-2 in doubles play. In singles action, Guyot and Lucas Van Splunteren secured 6-0, 6-1 wins, while top-seeded Coyote Blake Robertson battled for a 6-4, 7-5 win. A full box score can be found below:

Lunsford Tennis Complex at Troy University. Saturday's match is one of the biggest in Coastal South Tennis program history and is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. CT in Troy, Ala.
