BAY MINETTE, Ala. - The Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) officially released the 2025 ACCC Division I Softball All-Conference Teams on Thursday night, May 8, with the Coastal Alabama South Softball program seeing three players earn all-conference nods for the 2025 campaign.
Taylor Hunt was one of five infielders across the ACCC to earn all-conference honors this season, with the sophomore Daphne, Ala. native slashing .361 on the year. Hunt leads the team with 184 at-bats this season, adding a .415 on-base percentage and .539 slugging line. She has collected 65 total hits at the plate with 13 doubles, two triples, and five home runs. Hunt enters the postseason with 46 RBIs, while working 15 walks. On the base paths, Hunt is 9-for-10 in stolen base attempts. Defensively, the starting second baseman has recorded a .962 fielding percentage, committing just six errors and tallying 81 put-outs and 70 assists.
Lauren Mounce earned all-conference honors as part of the ACCC Battery this season, being one of just five honorees. Mounce leads Coastal Alabama South in innings pitched and appearances during the year with 121.2 innings of work on 30 appearances from the pitcher's circle. The sophomore right-hander manages a 3.05 ERA and averages over six strikeouts per seven innings. She enters the postseason with a team-best 106 strikeouts this season. Mounce is currently 17-5 from the rubber with one save and 10 complete games.
Freshman Sydni Carpenter was one of four honorable mention all-conference players for the 2025 season, with the Remlap, Ala. native beginning her collegiate career as a force at the plate. Carpenter leads the Coyotes in several offensive categories, recording a team-best 17 home runs during the regular season. Carpenter currently sits one homer shy of matching the all-time program record in home runs during a single season at Coastal Alabama South. Additionally, Carpenter leads in RBIs (53) and slugging percentage (.747). She sits second on the team in doubles (13), walks (28), and on-base percentage (.488). Carpenter has tallied 63 total hits and bats .342 on the year.
Coastal Alabama South is currently competing in the ACCC D-I Softball Championship Tournament, with the Coyotes sporting a 36-23 overall record.
