BAY MINETTE, Ala. – The Coastal Alabama South Competitive Cheer program, led by sixth-year head coach Cassidy Goodwin, took home top honors at the 2025 UCA College Cheer Camp over the weekend, earning first place in every major category heading into the 2025-26 season this fall.
The Coyotes delivered a clean sweep with first-place finishes in the Sideline, Timeout, Fight Song, and Overall Performance categories. The dominant performance positioned the team as one of the premier cheer programs in the region. In addition, Yotee, Coastal Alabama's beloved mascot, also received national recognition—earning the prestigious College Improvement Award and securing a spotlight in an upcoming ESPN segment, highlighting the rising profile of the program and its growing presence on the national stage.
The Coyotes now head into the school year with strong momentum, establishing Coastal Alabama South as a force in collegiate cheerleading across the regional and national level.
