Coastal Alabama - South Men’s & Women’s Tennis Announce 2026 Spring Schedules

Coyotes Set for Challenging Slate Featuring Conference Matchups, Four-Year Opponents and Championship Postseason Play

BAY MINETTE, Ala. - Coastal Alabama - South Men's and Women's Tennis, led by sixth-year head coach Kouri Allen, have unveiled the 2026 spring schedules, as the Coyotes prepare for a competitive season that features Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) matchups, four-year opponents and championship opportunities at the conference and national levels.

Both teams open the season Friday, Jan. 30 with a road match at Central Alabama in Millbrook before traveling to Monroeville, Ala. on Saturday, Jan. 31 for a pair of contests against counterpart Coastal Alabama - North at 10:00 a.m. CT and 2:00 p.m. CT.

Early-season challenges await as the 'Yotes make a multi-day trip to Louisiana, facing Nicholls State (La.) on Feb. 4 in Thibodaux and the University of New Orleans on Feb. 6. The men's squad will also take on NCAA D-I program Troy University (Ala.) on Feb. 11, while both programs meet Huntingdon College (Ala.) on Feb. 14 in Montgomery.

Conference competition includes home-and-home series against Central Alabama, Wallace State - Hanceville (Ala.), Marion Military Institute (Ala.), Bevill State (Ala.) and Coastal Alabama - North. The women's team will also face Snead State (Ala.) twice, including a March 7 home matchup in Bay Minette.

Home matches will be hosted in Bay Minette, Monroeville and Spanish Fort this season. Notable home dates include:

  • Feb. 21 (Men) vs. Gadsden State – Monroeville

  • Feb. 25 (Women) vs. Brenau University and Central Alabama – Bay Minette

  • Feb. 27 (Men & Women) vs. Bevill State – Spanish Fort (Spirit Park)

  • March 2 (Men & Women) vs. Marion Military Institute – Monroeville

  • March 7 (Women) vs. Snead State – Bay Minette

  • March 10 (Men & Women) vs. Wallace State-Hanceville – Monroeville
     

The schedule also features a competitive late-March road stretch with matches at UVA Wise (Va.) on March 22, Bethel University (Tenn.) on March 23, and the University of Tennessee Southern on March 24. On April 2, both teams compete in Mobile, Ala. at the Gerald L. Wallace Tennis Center to wrap up the regular season, facing Copiah-Lincoln CC at a neutral site before the men and women take on the University of Mobile (Ala.) later that day. April 2 will also be Sophomore Day for the graduating sophomores this season at Coastal Alabama. 

Postseason play officially begins April 10 at the 2026 ACCC Championships at The Fields at 17 Springs in Millbrook. The Coyotes will then turn their attention to the national stage, with the NJCAA Women's Tennis National Championship set for May 2 in Sumter, South Carolina, and the NJCAA Men's Tennis National Championship scheduled for May 11 in Plano, Texas.

With a balanced mix of conference rivals and four-year competition, the Coyotes look to build throughout the spring as they pursue ACCC championships and national tournament appearances in 2026. Both teams will open the season ranked inside the top 25 of the NJCAA Tennis Rankings, with the men's team sitting at No. 15 and the women's team at No. 17.
