Assistant Coach, Peyton Fuller, joined the Coyote staff in 2023 after previous coaching stints with Fairhope High School (2022) and Troy University (2017-2021).
The Fairhope, Ala. native, began his collegiate playing career with Troy University from 2013-2016. Fuller was a member of the 2013 Troy team that finsihed 42-20 overall, won a Sun Belt championship and secured a spot in the NCAA Regional Tournament. After finishing his playing career at Troy, he remained on staff through the 2021 season and assisted the team in coaching the outfield, hitting, and baserunning. Over five seasons, the Trojans established several offensive team records and ranked in the top five in most categories. The 2018 team appeared in the NCAA Regional Tournament in Athens, Georgia to highlight their success. Other notable outfield accolades, which Coach Fuller was directly involved with, included 2018 All-American & Sun Belt Player of the Year right fielder, Joey Denison; Rawlings Gold Glove center fielder Brandon Lockridge; and 2018 Freshman All-American left fielder, Rigsby Mosley. Cerny was also named a 2019 Freshman All-American the following season.
Fuller spent the 2022 season assisting his father, ALABCA Hall of Famer, Stu Fuller, at Fairhope High School where several players achieved ASWA All-State honors while advancing to the Class 7A playoffs.
Fuller earned his bachelor’s degree from Troy University in 2015 and completed his master’s degree in Exercise Science in the summer of 2019.
