Coastal Alabama - South Head Men's Basketball Coach Robby Robertson enters his 27th season in coaching and his 10th season at the helm of the Coyotes program. He succeeded his father, Hall of Fame coach Jack Robertson, for whom the arena on the Bay Minette campus is named. Since taking over in 2016, Robertson has continued the family legacy of excellence—amassing more than 150 career wins and leading the Coyotes to a runner-up finish at the 2023 ACCC Men's Basketball Championship Tournament.
Under his leadership, more than 30 student-athletes have continued their education and athletic careers at the next level. His program has also produced numerous athletic and academic award winners, including the 2023-2024 ACCC Division I Player of the Year and ASWA Community College Athlete of the Year.
A proud Faulkner State alumnus, Robertson competed in both basketball and baseball in Bay Minette before finishing his playing career under legendary coach M.K. Turk at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Robertson is married to Celeste Bagwell Robertson, who serves as the Director of Student Development at Coastal Alabama. The couple has three children—Jackson, Cohen, and Lila Grey.
