Marshall Dion Lawson enters his third season as Assistant Coach at Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette. He began his coaching career at Baldwin County High School in 1999 as an assistant to Coach Lorenzo Hunter. He was appointed Head Coach at Daphne High School from 2000 to 2003. From there Coach Lawson moved on to Leflore High School in Mobile, Ala. as an assistant to help Coach Otis Hughley lead the Leflore Rattlers to the 2007 Alabama 6A state Championship.
Coach Lawson graduated from Alabama State University in 1998 and later received his master's degree from the University of West Florida in 2005. A native of Daphne, Alabama, Lawson, and his wife are parents of two children – Hunter and Jacob.
