BAY MINETTE, Ala. – The Coastal Alabama South Softball program continues to set a high standard both on the field and in the classroom, with 14 student-athletes named as Easton NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 academic year. The NFCA's Scholar-Athlete program is widely regarded as one of the top academic honors in collegiate softball.
The prestigious honor, awarded by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), recognizes student-athletes who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher over the academic year. Coastal Alabama South Softball's impressive list of honorees highlights the program's commitment to academic excellence and personal development.
Recognized Student-Athletes:
Out of a 20-player roster, 70 percent of the team earned scholar-athlete distinction from the NFCA. Additionally, the team maintained a 3.37 team GPA throughout the academic year, qualifying the Coyotes for the NFCA team honor which is set to be announced in September.
