GREENVILLE, Ala. - Coastal Alabama - North Men's Golf turned in another strong showing this week, earning its second consecutive third-place finish of the season at the LBW Spring Invitational. The Coyotes held the team lead after the opening round before ultimately finishing third overall in the two-day event.
Coastal set the tone early behind a steady first round and positioned itself atop the leaderboard heading into day two. While the field tightened in the final round, the Coyotes remained in contention throughout and secured another podium finish to continue their strong spring campaign.
Judah Talley paced the Coyotes with a tie for sixth-place finish, carding rounds of 74 and 76 for a two-day total of 150 (+6). Talley's consistent play kept Coastal in the hunt throughout the tournament and provided stability at the top of the lineup. Meanwhile, Jacob Myrick delivered another solid performance, tying for ninth overall with rounds of 76 and 76 to finish at 152 (+8). His steady back-to-back rounds helped the Coyotes maintain position among the tournament leaders.
Landen Savage added a top-15 finish, tying for 12th after posting rounds of 76 and 78 for a 154 (+10) total. Jake Christian and Shane Burns each tied for 16th place at 156 (+12). Christian opened strong with a team-best 74 in round one before finishing the tournament with an 82, while Burns recorded rounds of 76 and 80 over the two-day event.
With all five golfers finishing inside the top 20, Coastal Alabama - South showcased its depth and balance across the lineup. The Coyotes' ability to stack consistent scores throughout the field proved pivotal in securing another top-three team finish.
