Box Score JACK ROBERTSON ARENA | BAY MINETTE, Ala. - Coastal Alabama - South Women's Basketball put together an impressive performance on Wednesday evening, Dec. 17, rolling past Enterprise State Community College (Ala.) 75-30 to wrap up the first half of the 2025-26 season. The Coyotes controlled the game from start to finish, improving the overall record to 8-2 ahead of Christmas break following the 45-point win.

Coastal - South Women's Basketball will return to action in January of 2026 for ACCC division play.

Yotes Dominate the Boll Weevils

Coastal - South set the tone early, holding the winless Enterprise State Boll Weevils to just nine points in the opening quarter before steadily pulling away behind balanced scoring and relentless defense. The Coyotes led 31-15 at halftime and continued to extend the margin in the second half, outscoring Enterprise State 44-15 over the final two quarters. The Boll Weevils managed just five points alone in the third quarter, while Coastal - South's best quarter of the night came during a 25-point fourth frame.

Brooklyn Phillips and Kennedy Gill led the way with a game-high 14 points each, with Phillips knocking down three three-pointers while adding four rebounds. Kennedy Gill's 14-point performance came from off the bench, providing a strong spark as Coastal - South showcased its depth. Meanwhile, Shakira Williams chipped in 13 points on an efficient 5-of-8 shooting from off the bench, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.

The Coyotes controlled the paint and the glass throughout the contest, finishing with 44 rebounds, while collecting 15 steals in the win. Shamiya Oliver anchored the effort inside with a double-digit rebounding performance, pulling down 13 boards to go along with seven points.

Coastal - South shot 37.3% from the field and 40% from three-point range, while the defense limited Enterprise State to just 30 total points on the night.

Home for the Holidays

The Coyotes will take the next several weeks off to celebrate the holiday season, with the team not seeing action again until Jan. 5 on the road. Coastal - South is scheduled to face Reid State Tech (Ala.) in a non-divisional game out of the break, set for 5:30 p.m. CT in Evergreen, Ala. The Yotes will return home to Jack Robertson Arena in Bay Minette on Jan. 8.
