NJCAA Announces 2024-25 All-Academic Honorees

Coastal Alabama Athletics Sees Over 60 Honored by NJCAA with All-Academic Selections

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) officially announced the NJCAA All-Academic Teams and honorees for the 2024-25 season on Thursday, July 24, with several student-athletes from both Coastal Alabama South and North Athletics being honored. Each year, the NJCAA recognizes student-athletes for their dedication in the classroom throughout each academic season on three all-academic teams, typically released during the summer.

The NJCAA All-Academic First Team features student-athletes who maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA during the year. The NJCAA All-Academic Second Team consists of student-athletes with a GPA ranging from 3.80 - 3.99 during the season, and student-athletes who maintained a GPA from 3.60 - 3.79 during the year were selected on the NJCAA All-Academic Third Team.

For Coastal Alabama Community College, the institution saw 69 student-athletes featured, with 11 earning NJCAA All-Academic First Team status for producing a 4.00 GPA. For Coastal Alabama - South, 46 student-athletes total were selected this year. Meanwhile, 23 student-athletes from Coastal Alabama - North were honored. Additionally, 10 teams from Coastal Alabama were named NJCAA All-Academic Teams for the 2024-25 season for maintaining a 3.00 team GPA throughout the year. Teams honored are listed below:
