BAY MINETTE, Ala. – Coastal Alabama - South Women's Volleyball, led by head coach Ritchie Dulaney who begins her 31st season at the helm of the program, officially announced the 2025 season schedule on Wednesday, with the regular season set to begin on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 23 on the Bay Minette campus. This year's schedule is highlighted by a strong home slate at Jack Robertson Arena in Bay Minette, Ala. along with two early-season tournament showdowns.
The Coyotes will open regular-season play at home on Saturday with a non-conference doubleheader against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and United States Sports University (Ala.). Saturday's action is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. CT. Just two days later, the Yotes hit the road to face Mississippi Gulf Coast in Perkinston, Miss. before traveling to Bishop State (Ala.) in Mobile, Ala. for a conference match on Aug. 27.
Tournament action will test the squad early, with appearances in the Wallace State (Ala.) Invitational in Hanceville, Ala. (Aug. 29-30) and the LBW Tournament in Dothan, Ala. (Sept. 5-6) seeing the Coyotes play four matches during each weekend.
Conference play in the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) then begins to heat up in mid-September, with the Coyotes welcoming Coastal Alabama – North on Sept. 17 to start a stretch of four consecutive home conference matches over a six-day span. September is by far the busiest month of the regular season for Coastal Alabama - South as the Coyotes play 15 total matches during the month. Meanwhile, October sees eight more matches before the regular season concludes, including a trip to Brewton, Ala. for a road matchup with Coastal Alabama - North and a trip across state lines to Pace, Fla. for a non-conference match with John Melvin University (Fla.).
The postseason begins on Oct. 31 at the ACCC's Gulf Atlantic District A/B Championship in Montgomery, Ala., with the ultimate goal of reaching the 2025 NJCAA D-II Women's Volleyball National Championship Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Nov. 19.
