BAY MINETTE, Ala. - Coastal Alabama - South Women's Volleyball, led by longtime head coach Ritchie Dulaney, is set to begin the 2026 season on Friday, Aug. 21, with the Coyotes preparing for a competitive schedule that features matchups against programs from across the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) and beyond.

Coastal Alabama - South opens the season with a challenging road contest where the Coyotes travel to Wadley, Ala. for a matchup against Southern Union State (Ala.) at 5:00 p.m. CT.

The Coyotes will make their 2026 home debut on August 25 when Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College visits Bay Minette for a 6:00 p.m. CT match inside Jack Robertson Arena. Coastal - South will play several early-season home contests, including matches against Lurleen B. Wallace (Ala.) on September 3 and Southern Union State on September 5.

The schedule also provides plenty of opportunities for the Coyotes to test themselves against familiar ACCC competition. Coastal Alabama - South will meet sibling rival Coastal Alabama - North twice during the regular season, with the first matchup scheduled for September 16 in Brewton, Ala. before the teams meet again October 12 in Bay Minette.

Following the early portion of the schedule, the Coyotes will compete in the 2026 Crossover Tournament in Enterprise, Ala. on September 11 before returning to ACCC play. The regular-season slate continues through October and includes home matches against Wallace Community College - Selma (Ala.), Bishop State (Ala.), Central Alabama Community College (Ala.), Reid State Tech (Ala.), Enterprise State (Ala.) and Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Miss.).

Road tests will also play a major role in the Coyotes' season, with Coastal Alabama - South traveling to Wallace - Selma, Copiah-Lincoln, Enterprise State, Reid State, LBW, Mississippi Gulf Coast and Central Alabama throughout September and October. The Coyotes close the regular season October 24 at Central Alabama before turning their attention to the postseason.

The 2026 ACCC Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament is scheduled for October 30 at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. For teams that advance, the season continues at the 2026 NJCAA Division II Women's Volleyball National Championship Tournament, scheduled for November 19 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Coyotes' 2026 schedule features 24 regular-season contests, including multiple home dates in Bay Minette, giving Coyote fans plenty of opportunities to support Coastal Alabama - South Volleyball throughout the season. 

With the demanding schedule from the opening whistle through the postseason, Coastal Alabama - South Women's Volleyball will look to establish itself as a contender throughout the 2026 campaign.
