BAY MINETTE, Ala. – The Coastal Alabama – South Men's Golf team is ready to tee off its 2025-26 season with a slate of tournaments across Alabama and the Gulf Coast region beginning this upcoming weekend. Third-year head coach Lee Huggins returns two members from the 2024-25 squad in Austin Vilborg and Zachary Smith, while a talented group of first-year Coyotes joins the program to strengthen what is expected to be one of the team's most competitive rosters to date.
The Yotes begin the season on Sept. 7 at the Wallace State Fall Kickoff Classic, hosted at RTJ Highland Oaks in Dothan, Ala. The early-season test is a three-day tournament and will provide Coastal Alabama – South a chance to measure itself against some top competition in the region.
Two weeks later, the Coyotes travel north for the Chuck Kalanick Memorial at Cherokee Ridge Country Club in Union Grove, Ala. on Sept. 21, before turning attention to the ACCC Conferenece Preview on Oct. 6 at Cypress Lakes Golf Club in Muscle Shoals, Ala. – a tune-up for the spring conference championship.
The month of October will stay busy with back-to-back events, including the LBW Saints Invitational at RTJ Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Ala. (Oct. 19) and the MGCCC Fall Invitational in Gulfport, Miss. (Oct. 26). The fall portion of the schedule then wraps up at the Dan York Memorial, hosted at Terri Pines Country Club in Cullman, Ala. on Nov. 2, giving the Coyotes one last tournament ahead of the winter break and spring portion of the schedule.
The spring portion of the 2025-26 campaign will be announced at a later date this fall.
