BAY MINETTE, Ala. - The Coastal Alabama - South Baseball program, led by third-year head coach JD Pruitt, has announced its 2026 schedule, highlighted by a competitive 56-game regular-season slate, including 36 ACCC Division I games, leading into postseason play beginning in May.

The Coyotes will play an exhibition game on Saturday, Jan. 24 in a road matchup at the University of Montevallo (Ala.) before officially opening the 2026 campaign with a challenging non-conference game at Pearl River Community College (Miss.) on Jan. 27 in Poplarville, Miss. The early-season stretch continues following the season opener and features a south Florida trip highlighted by games versus Monroe University (N.Y.) and Miami Dade College (Fla.) in Miami, Fla.

Coastal Alabama - South's home opener is set for Wednesday, Feb. 4, as the 'Yotes welcome Northwest Florida State College to Stanley James Field in Bay Minette, Ala. The home schedule includes a strong lineup of non-conference opponents such as Pearl River CC, Mississippi Gulf Coast CC, Jones College (Miss.), Copiah-Lincoln CC (Miss.), and United States Sports University (Ala.).

Conference play intensifies in March and April with home-and-home ACCC series against Wallace State - Hanceville (Ala.), Southern Union State (Ala.), Northwest-Shoals (Ala.), Calhoun (Ala.), Chattahoochee Valley (Ala.), Lawson State (Ala.), Shelton State (Ala.), Snead State (Ala.), and Gadsden State (Ala.). The Coyotes will also face counterpart and sibling rival Coastal Alabama - North in a two-game series split between Bay Minette (Mar. 10) and Brewton, Ala. (Mar. 31).

The regular season concludes on Saturday, May 2, with a home doubleheader against Gadsden State. Coastal - South will then turn its focus to postseason competition at the 2026 ACCC Division I Baseball Championship, scheduled to begin May 7 at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama, followed by the NJCAA Division I Region 22/23 District Championship Series starting May 14.

All home games during the 2026 season will be played at Stanley James Field in Bay Minette, Ala. and will be broadcasted live on JockJive.com. Dates and times are subject to change.
