Coastal Alabama - South Softball Sends Six Sophomores to the Next Level

Six Coyotes to Continue Collegiate Careers at Four-Year Institutions

BAY MINETTE, Ala. - The Coastal Alabama - South Softball program, led by head coach Mallory Radwitch, celebrated a major milestone for several student-athletes continuing their academic and athletic careers at the next level. The program will see six sophomores continue their collegiate careers after signing with four-year institutions following the 2026 season.

Catcher Sydni Carpenter signed with NCAA Division I's University of North Georgia after putting together one of the most dominant offensive careers in program history. In 2026 alone, Carpenter finished third in the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) with 20 home runs and fourth in RBIs with 63 while batting .429 across 57 games. She added 66 hits, 13 doubles, a triple, 65 runs scored and a .919 slugging percentage. Carpenter also drew 50 walks while striking out just 18 times. After matching the program's single-season home run record with 18 as a freshman in 2025, she broke the mark in 2026 with 20 long balls.

Right-handed pitcher Sam Daniels signed with NCAA Division III's Centenary College (La.) after serving as the Coyotes' ace in the pitcher's circle throughout the season. Daniels ranked third in the ACCC with 15 wins while compiling a 15-8 record over 126.2 innings pitched. She made 24 starts and 32 appearances, tossing 12 complete games with one save while recording 53 strikeouts.

Outfielder Breleigh Corley signed with University of Mobile (Ala.) after appearing in 43 games during the 2026 season. Corley hit .280 with 26 hits, three triples, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored while posting a .364 on-base percentage. She joins a talented Mobile squad that has reached the NAIA Softball World Series three times during the last five seasons.

Meanwhile, a trio of Coyotes will remain in Baldwin County, Ala. following the 2026 campaign, signing with the United States Sports University (Ala.), the NAIA's newest member school.

First baseman Brianna Ryan will continue her career with the USSU Eagles after a strong 2026 season. Ryan played in all 57 games and posted a .319 batting average with 53 hits, nine doubles, three home runs and 34 RBIs. She also carried a .439 on-base percentage with 30 walks and 25 runs scored.

Shortstop Charlotte Lottinger signed with USSU after emerging as one of the Coyotes' most consistent all-around players from the leadoff spot in the lineup. Lottinger hit .314 with 43 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, four home runs and 41 RBIs across 51 games. She added 51 runs scored and a .525 on-base percentage while striking out just 15 times.

Finally, infielder Gracie Toledano signed with the Eagles after battling through an injury-shortened sophomore season. During the 2025 campaign, however, Toledano appeared in 55 games and hit .267 with five doubles, 22 RBIs and 32 hits.

The six signees helped continue the growth and success of the Coastal Alabama - South Softball program.
